Larimar stone belongs to the mineral class of inosilicates. Its color is white / blue, with a predisposition of one or the other according to the single specimen. It has a triclinic crystalline system and is born thanks to the primary lithogenetic process. It is mined in the Dominican Republic. Only in recent years has this stone become known in crystal therapy . There are no particular indications of its uses in the past.

The only information that comes to us from the past, but which in reality is not directly addressed to Larimar but which makes us think of her, comes from a prophet of Atlantis who spoke of a blue stone with incredible healing powers.

This stone manages to align the energy of the crystal with both the mind and nature. It is considered the birthstone for adventurers and explorers. Larimar harmonizes, distributing energy in a balanced way.

Ethereal, light, sinuous, transparent: the Medusa lives in all the seas of the planet.

It follows the flows of the tides and, symbolically, the flows of life.

It is the totem animal that connects our being with the cycles of life represented by water, an essential principle.

The Medusa expresses the need to let go of all resistances to be carried with confidence by the flow of the currents of life.

But beware: behind the gracefulness of the Medusa hides a small dose of poison that could be deadly for those who get in its way if pushed by wickedness!

Jellyfish are particular animals, ethereal, sinuous and transparent. Widespread in many seas of the world there are several species, some as beautiful as they are deadly. In fact, some jellyfish, especially in tropical seas, can be extremely dangerous for humans if they come into contact with them. Fortunately, in our seas this danger does not exist, since the homegrown jellyfish have only a stinging effect.

Unwelcome to most for their appearance and their danger, they manage to gather various admirers in the world of tattoos.

The jellyfish express the concept of letting go and carried away by the current of life, without resistance. But don't think that the jellyfish is a defenseless animal, behind its natural grace there is an innate instinct for survival; if attacked, the jellyfish will defend itself with its stinging filaments. A perfect symbolism that is contained in some people, good until they are cornered, bringing out the worst in themselves.

Jellyfish (Class Scyphozoa) belong to the large group of cnidarians (Phylum Cnidaria), together with sea anemones and corals . Their body is characterized by a radial symmetry and develops concentrically around a central axis: turning around a jellyfish we will in fact always see it the same, regardless of the angle from which we observe it!
The shape of these animals is unmistakable: their body (called umbrella ) resembles a bell, from whose lower edge dozens of tentacles depart, facing downwards. On the concave side of the organism, in a central position, there is a cylindrical structure called the manubrium, at the end of which there is the mouth. This is the only opening in the animal and opens into a blind cavity called the gastrovascular cavity.

Jellyfish are very simple organisms and their bodies only consist of three layers:

  • the epidermis, the outermost layer, which acts as a barrier to the surrounding environment;
  • the gastrodermis, the innermost layer, which lines the gastrovascular cavity;
  • and finally the mesoglea, a gelatinous mass that is interposed between the other two layers and which favors the floatation of the animal. The English name of jellyfish derives from the mesoglea, which gives the jellyfish the characteristic jelly-like appearance .
